Skull's Rainbow Room

Real nice old timish feeling place with a touch of old style elegance little things like the bar itself looks like a wonderfully cared for 100 year old bar the stage shows the earmarks of being well cared for yet a little worn from thousands of show performances. Good drinks great service and good music.

We stopped in to grab a drink from the bar and WOW! The atmosphere, the service, the entertainment ... everything was top-notch. The drinks were fantastic, the bartender was so friendly, and we even had a chat with the hostess who had seated us (she gave us some tips for our next visit). The performance was amazing! We wish we had more time to take it all in. We will definitely be back when we have the time to spend an entire evening and truly enjoy this amazing spot.

The filet was great, but the NY strip was poor quality and had a tough rubbery texture. The service and atmosphere were good.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO! I’m sure the show would have been great had we been able to get in without only 20 min left of the show. You really have to be at this location at 9 to get any sort of good seating/spot to stand. The place is small and doesn’t have much standing room. If you get there later around 10 or after you are more than likely waiting outside forever if you even get in. AND once you get in it’s very unlikely you’ll get a spot with a good view. Our party of 5 waited for an hour and a half outside and once we got in there was literally no where to stand and be able to see the show. The bouncer was great though. Chased off a homeless man and a rude drunk guy screaming at another patron in line. Parking: There is no parking here! Get an Uber it’s cheaper than parking in the lots downtown.

This place was AMAZING!! Certainly one of the best meals I've had in a long time! The atmosphere was a welcome change from the crazy hubub going on down on Broadway! The live Jazz piano was great, and my husband and I could actually have a conversation during dinner! Our server, Santoya was so very attentive, kind and knowledgeable about the menu, and the cocktails! She certainly did not steer us astray. For starters, we ordered the ribeye empanadas! Oh, my... You must order this!! I ordered the crawfish gnocchi, with a shrimp skewer, and my husband ordered the rack of lamb. The gnocchi was not stoggy, but made and cooked perfectly and the cream sauce was divine. I tasted the rack of lamb and it was cooked too perfection. We watched the kitchen team kicking out the orders like pros! Half of the restaurant was booked with a huge corporate party of some sort. They seemed to have that in hand as tray after tray of lobster bisque and salads rolled out for the big party! Gordon Ramsay would have been proud! Well run restaurant for sure!!

Really good customer service

It's not easy to get a reservation here unless you try several days in advance, and there is a reason for that. This place is really cool, has awesome cocktails and great live entertainment
