I love this restaurant. Having your food served on a sizzling hot plate is great. I enjoyed the udon noodles but the rice is definitely the right option. Prices were great and so was the service! I also ordered it on door dash and it was just as good! Vegetarian options: They have veggie options and I am sure they are good Parking: Plenty of parking
When you’ve been to Taipei and had the real deal of Pepper Lunch, it’s hard to compare to what they have in the states. Very minimal selections. Cannot edit the platters. Only one standard sauce unless you want soy sauce. They were kind enough to make my meal a vegan dish by offering me soy sauce versus they oyster sauce base. Overall it’s still delicious. Christine was an AMAZING server who did what she could with the tools provided.
Good service, even though there was only one waitress, and even better food. I’m a big fan of the Sizzle Shack now. The salmon and beef platters were very good. The skillets are nuclear hot! The Udon pepper noodles were tasty too.
I thought I'd try something different since the pictures looked good. I ordered the pork pepper, Vietnamese breakfast, and Chicken curry. My husband enjoyed his curry, but I felt like my 2 bowls were too bland there wasn't much flavor in it. But it was a good try, but it's not my kind of food so I won't go back.
Love you guys, but OPEN EARLIER! I can't wait until lunch time to eat breakfast
Our first time here. It was really good. I got the pepper salmon and my husband got the pepper beef. The food was so tasty. The longer you let it sit on the pan the rice gets all crispy and soaks up whatever sauce you put on it. The waitress was awesome. She was by herself but able to handle all the tables and was very attentive to each one. I can't wait to come again and try something different!
