Been meaning to get to Six Tables for a while. Finally my wife and I made it Friday night to celebrate our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Not only did we have a wonderful meal, we had a fantastic dining experience. Perfect lighting and decor, enjoyable background music, and attentive service provide the backdrop to your dining experience. Upon arrival you are served a nice glass of sparkling wine and appetizers. This is followed by the presentation of the menu by the owners/chefs, Tom and Jenny, which was welcoming and informative. We started with soup, both the lobster bisque and the tomato basil were outstanding (accompanied by fantastic homemade bread). This was followed by a fresh, bright and delightful salad. The intermezzo was unique, refreshing and perfect. My wife had filet mignon and I had rack of lamb. Both were cooked perfectly to the requested temperature and were excellent, complimented by boursin mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. We concluded with dessert beautifully presented to recognize our anniversary. This is the type of dining experience to be savored and enjoyed, it was not simply a meal. Nice to also support a small business doing it the right way.
