We had super high hopes for this restaurant. They were on a list of top buffets so we tried their $70 Thanksgiving buffet, but sadly, was deeply disappointed. First, and most importantly, the buffet wasn't well stocked! The sushi didn't look fresh or appetizing. It was very messy. Real sushi lovers will skip it. I've seen much cheaper buffets pull this off much better. The orientation of the buffet was odd too. You passed the deserts on an open table as you were escorted in. Again off putting. The turkey was very dry, although I'm told prime rib was acceptable, I didn't try it. When Brussels sprouts and pretzel rolls are the highlight of your meal, that tells you all you needed to know! The salads were messy. I wish they had a salad bar with fresh vegetables that you could build yourself with your choice of dressing, I think that would've saved the day. I could've at least eaten that. Instead I barely ate anything because nothing was special. They kept running out of stuff and it took a long time for them to refresh. Just really sloppy and disappointing. I'm curious how they received the reviews they have. Most people didn't seem that happy with the food when we eating. Maybe they're better when you order off the menu but I wouldn't give them another chance. Just don't waste your money on the buffet! And not having ice cream was just damn cheap. Lol.

My daughter and I had Thanksgiving 2022 dinner buffet at SHOR restaurant in Clearwater. The reviews were great and we wanted to do something special this year. I’m not sure why the ratings were so high. The food was not good and the service was below average. I’m comparing service to Flemings, Eddie V’s and Del Frisco’s restaurants. Next year we’ll pick one of those restaurants for the holiday. We paid over $200 for 2 people which wasn’t a bad price. But some of the food was inedible and not of the expected quality. Although we had reservations, to avoid a long wait to be seated, we had to eat outside on the patio. Luckily the weather made it a possibility. All in all, this restaurant choice could have ruined our holiday. I hope this review will help others make a better dining choice.

Beautiful inside and out, we had brunch on the patio with a view of the beach. Lobster eggs Benedict was great, as was Nutella stuffed French toast. Upscale place and wait staff was very friendly.
