Shinto Sushi at Freedom Commons

The FRESHEST salmon sashimi I’ve ever had! All the rolls are well made and the hibachi is to die for. The whole staff is so sweet and welcoming! The place itself is well decorated with a classic Japanese vibe. Definitely my favorite sushi place! Kid-friendliness: I always see lots of families here with young and old. Its a great place for everyone.

Our server Katie was phenomenal. They had wonderful suggestions and were very attentive to us the whole time we were there. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience!

I cannot believe this place is rated 4.5. I knew what I was getting into by going to a Benihana knockoff but the food was nearly inedible. I ordered unagi sushi that was pretty much three pieces of fat. I ordered the hibachi steak dinner and the steak lacked flavor and had the texture of cardboard. The onion soup that came with the dinner might have well as been pepper soup due to the excess pepper flavor. The veggies accompanying the dinner were soggy and flavorless. The only reason I finished the meal was because it set me back $60 and I just didn’t want to throw that $$$ down the drain. Maybe they were having a bad night but I definitely would not go back to find out.

A bit pricey but totally worth it.

Like OMG.... was staying at the Marriott down the street and was like sushi night. We splurged big and got a party tray which included 5 traditional & 5 speciality. We tried a little bit of everything from Godzilla, Captain Jack, Rainbow, Crispy Traditional Salmon, California, Guatemalan, Lobster ....everything and I mean everything was phenomenal. Loved the large servings of Wasabi and ginger. Definitely plan on returning to try another party tray, it's honestly worth the money. With that said, I definitely highly recommend this establishment, give them all of your money ! Loved that from the time we placed the order it was ready in 20 minutes.
