Amazing. Go there!!! What are you waiting for? The BEST service. Fresh seafood and a delicious and welcoming ambiance
This cafe is lovely in the summer, outside under an umbrella -- IF you want a lunch salad. Otherwise, stay away. My husband and I went there twice recently for dinner. Both times were quite awful. The dinner salad we ordered was swimming in dressing. For dinner, I ordered veal piccata, usually a delicate meal. Here, the dinner plate looked like someone simply dumped the food onto it. The portion was plentiful, but instead of a delicate sauce of wine and lemon juice, it was smothered in a thick, heavy gravy. The artichoke pieces on top were tough, and rather than serving hearts alone on top of the meat, as expected, they served them with some of the husks attached, so I needed a steak knife to cut through and eat the hearts alone. I love spinach and ordered it at additional cost. What came had zero taste. My husband's dish was equally bad; his meat was swimming in heavy gravy, although instead of spinach, he had soggy, overdone green beans. When the busboy asked if we enjoyed the meal, I said, "No, it was terrible. We won't be coming back again." (He thought I was joking until I added, "Really" and failed to smile. Then the waiter came over and asked the same question and got the same answer. He then went back to the owner and came back with the check, pointing out that they had removed the charge for the glass of wine. Bad food, bad management, bad handling of a complaint. Going back ever again? Nope. Eat there at your own risk.
My son and I had Christmas Eve dinner at Seventh Street Cafe and it was a wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal. Fresh, high quality and perfectly prepared and presented. Service was impeccable, Attentive and professional. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has an inviting, Tuscan vibe. All in all, a fantastic experience. Well worth the hour drive!
Had our office party here, the place is decorated beautifully, the wait staff was very attentive. The food wasn't as great as I expected, but it was ok. The drinks were spot on and there was plenty of parking. I have tried the restaurant part but it looks very nice Parking: Parking is free after a certain hour, but remember to park head in or else they will give you a ticket !
We went for brunch the Sunday after my birthday. I thought it was really good. I had the eggs benedict and I believe the hollandaise was homemade; it didn't break, always a plus, however it was a tad salty. The yolks broke exactly as I like (Chefs kiss). The hash browns were good, solid. My daughter got the fried egg sandwich. The yolks could have been harder, they were medium. The mimosas were great! I really liked the atmosphere but the service could have been a little swifter. All in all, a really nice place. I want to go back for dinner.
The ordering and meals should have come out a little faster. The meal was good. Nothing to go crazy about I had the Filet of Sole. It was wet. Too much water on the plate. The potato was cut nicely and was the highlight of the meal. Parking: Right out in front. Easy in and out.
Came here for a friend's baby shower and was pleasantly surprised by the location itself, the atmosphere, service and the food! We were expecting mediocre food but it was much better then we thought. Enough that we're curious to come again to try more from their menu, to possibly hold parties here ourselves in the near future! Parking: Free large parking lot in the back
