This buffet is rough for a gluten free person. The only things that are gf are the crab legs (which is why we went - so on that front it worked out) and some veggies. Nothing is labeled and no one likes to answer questions. There's not a lot of choices even if you can eat wheat. The food is nothing special, according to the people in my party that could eat anything. Also, this casino, in general, is super depressing. People look sad and miserable, even angry, so many people stood in the middle of the walkways or blocked doors, I think I got run into at least 5 times. One lady actually clipped my shoulder. Most of the staff were so sweet and helpful. But the ice cream scooper in the buffet was so mean. When I asked (very nicely) which ice cream was gf, she replied (soooooo rudely) "none." And I was like, "you guys put wheat into ice cream?" And she didn't know the answer. Even if there's cross contamination, at least she should be able to explain that. Ice cream doesn't have wheat and so many people don't even know what gluten is, so I figured it was probably safe. So then I asked for caramel in a bowl and not a cone, she put it on a waffle cone bowl. Then I said "I can't eat that" and she said "that's all I have." Then I said, "I know you have a normal bowl you can put ice cream into." She said she was out and I could go get a bowl from somewhere else. So I had to walk to the soup bar and get my own bowl, then walk back to the ice cream and wait in line again. I probably glutened myself because Yaamava thinks they should put wheat in ice cream, and I ate it out of spite towards that horrible ice cream lady.
