*There is an update below* This place is NOT FOR TAKING A DATE OR ANYBODY IMPORTANT. ALSO DONT BUY ALCOHOL HERE. This place was super disappointing. Just for reference for the restaurant my Check# was 10650 because last thing I need is a claim that I'm not real. 1. The service is slow. The waitress, to be fair, I could tell she was new because there were several questions she should have known. But she did her best under the circumstance. But for a restaurant that wasn't busy, she needs more practice. Overall it took awhile for the food to arrive. 2. The food was very so-so. The calamari $20 was not good. Too much breading and fried very hard. It almost felt like I was eating an onion ring from BK. The $38 Pan seared salmon was ridiculous. The portion size was good but it wasn't $38 good. The Salmon rigatoni was good though the rigatoni was better than the salmon itself. 3. I AM A BARTENDER and Have been fore more than decade. To put it as nicely as possible: Them drinks are very TRASH. You gonna tell me I paid $16 for a "TOP SHELF" margarita but its made with 1800??? What bar on earth has 1800 as TOP SHELF. More like the Top shelf of a dumpster. Sour mix from a bottle and if it wasn't, my god where did you get the limes from?...Satan? The margarita had NO ICE. Now it is possible to make a margarita with no ice but the drinks needs to be ICE COLD/Almost frozen. I decided to get a mojito. I was given a regular mojito and not a raspberry mojito like I was charged for. When I asked I was told a regular mojito and a raspberry was the same price. The drink itself had NOOOOOO SOOODA WTH? Since when are mojitos made with just the same sour mix as the margarita and no soda or even mint muddled into the drink? Drink were AWFUL I cant stress this enough. Though they did give us the deserts for free after seeing we weren't having a good time, even those were mediocre. Overall this place, if you compare it to the Italian oven across the street, Italian oven wins. Though its more casual, it least the drinks and food are consistent. Stay away from this place. This was a unpleasant experience. Go to Olive Garden and least the drinks are made right. EDIT: response to the owner: Just like your food and drinks, your memory is WRONG. Let me explain 1. You didn't sit to us as we didn't sit at the bar. 2. We never acted like we had a good time and we DID voice our complaint. Why were the desserts voided off the bill? Because yall knew we weren't happy. 3. You didn't take our picture so that wasn't us. 4. Dinah being with yall for 5 months isn't helping your case. The drinks SUCKED. No I don't work for the Italian Oven, but I sure as hell know they are consistent with making their drinks. Again a Mojito with no soda and muddled mint is a beginner mistake. 5. You're telling me you have been making margaritas for 40 years?? GTFOH. Yet you don't know that Grand Marnier is an orange liqueur AKA triple sec?? Let alone how to spell it? Triple sec is a generic term for any orange liqueur, and Grand Marnier is a blend of 49% orange liqueur and 51% cognac. You just proved my point. Y'all need a real bartender. 6. Best Italian in town???? BUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA. No sir, you haven't been to Serena Pastificio. Now that's TOP QUALITY Italian. You should try some GOOD Italian food. 7. Nobody said the Salmon wasn't fresh. It was overcooked and dry. The pasta was better than the fish. That's all. As for the portion size, I didn't complain about the portion. It wasn't $30 good. 8. Yall are foul as hell for that technology fee. 8% Tax, 3% Technology fee, 3% Local liquor tax and 15% gratuity = 29% additional to the bill. Most companies that do this are not doing well financially because they cant afford to do business, since they lack customers. I wonder why its lacking customers... Stay away yall.

1st time there. If you like Italian food you must go there but they also have a lot of food for people who don't like Italian food. Like steak chicken and duck and seafood and lamb. It's so good. People were so friendly. We will be back.

**Edited 8/18/2020 in response to the owner:** Really unimpressed. And have now changed to one star. First off, the caprese salad had ONE piece of mozzarella. That really doesn't make it worth ordering at all. The owner says 'it's got fresh mozarella' but doesn't respond to the fact that it was one piece. Okay fine, moving on... The seafood bisque was good, but very tomato forward and needed salt. My tortellini rustica was okay at best, very greasy. The portion was very small for a dinner (like HALF of what it should have been) and the sauce was leaking out (to be 100% fair, that could have been because of grub hub). It's easy for the restaurant to blame that on someone else, so I didn't expect them to take responsibility for that. The biggest issue for me was that the tortellini rustica is supposed to be chicken, shrimp, and pancetta. There were only TWO pieces of shrimp in the dish and the container seemed half full. If you're charging me for a whole meal, I want the whole meal! We will definitely not order here again. I'm really disappointed because I was looking forward to it. The owner says well 'it comes with two jumbo shrimp'... First off, there was nothing 'jumbo' about the two shrimp I got. Secondly, tell me where EXACTLY on the menu that it says it comes with only two shrimp? It doesn't, I checked-unless they go and edit the menu description after I post this review. How am I, the customer, supposed to know it's only supposed to come with two measly pieces of shrimp if it's not stated on the menu?! Will not only never order here again, now will actively tell people to avoid it when they're in town. So to re-cap: Small portions, overpriced, they totally cheap out on the protein in entrees, and bad customer service when the owners response makes it sound like I am supposed to magically know what exactly the dish should have in it. The owner says dining in is always a better experience- yet the other reviews don't make me think that's true and also- THERE'S A PANDEMIC GOING ON. I didn't want to come dine-in. That's why I ordered in.

A cozy Italian restaurant with authentic and house made food. They start you out with this melt in your mouth bread, similar to a fresh Krispy Kreme but delicious Italian bread instead of donut, doused in butter and topped with parmesan cheese. I ordered the Serafino Salad. The portion size was enormous. It came with standard Italian salad items, including beets, artichoke hearts, carrots, sweet onions, tomatoes, cucumber, tiger shrimp and scallops. I didn't even finish my salad, which is rare in my case. My wife ordered the Salmon Felicia, which is salmon stuffed with lobster and all kinds of magnificent food. The pasta was perfect, in seasoning and texture. We will certainly be going back.

A change of ownership. So glad they didn't close I love the tasty food here the salad and the cream sauces are to die for. All dishes are the same as before. The new owner is very nice and still cozy atmosphere.

...the food and the staff are very good. We overlooked it a few times, but his arrogance was a real turnoff. You can check my reviewing history...I almost NEVER write a very negative review. Example: We were about to order and he says, "Come on, come on. I've got people to see." And, it we weren't dallying at all. Maybe he just didn't like us? I don't know. But, sometimes, you have to make a stand. He lost our business.
