A very authentic Italian restaurant indeed. Nice and cozy family restaurant with attentive staff. The food was very flavorful with fresh homemade herbs.
$20 for a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, the kid can of Chef Boyardee would taste better a complete waste of money
A wonderful place home atmosphere
1st time there. If you like Italian food you must go there but they also have a lot of food for people who don't like Italian food. Like steak chicken and duck and seafood and lamb. It's so good. People were so friendly. We will be back.
**Edited 8/18/2020 in response to the owner:**
Really unimpressed. And have now changed to one star.
First off, the caprese salad had ONE piece of mozzarella. That really doesn't make it worth ordering at all. The owner says 'it's got fresh mozarella' but doesn't respond to the fact that it was one piece. Okay fine, moving on...
The seafood bisque was good, but very tomato forward and needed salt.
My tortellini rustica was okay at best, very greasy. The portion was very small for a dinner (like HALF of what it should have been) and the sauce was leaking out (to be 100% fair, that could have been because of grub hub). It's easy for the restaurant to blame that on someone else, so I didn't expect them to take responsibility for that.
The biggest issue for me was that the tortellini rustica is supposed to be chicken, shrimp, and pancetta. There were only TWO pieces of shrimp in the dish and the container seemed half full. If you're charging me for a whole meal, I want the whole meal! We will definitely not order here again. I'm really disappointed because I was looking forward to it. The owner says well 'it comes with two jumbo shrimp'...
First off, there was nothing 'jumbo' about the two shrimp I got. Secondly, tell me where EXACTLY on the menu that it says it comes with only two shrimp? It doesn't, I checked-unless they go and edit the menu description after I post this review. How am I, the customer, supposed to know it's only supposed to come with two measly pieces of shrimp if it's not stated on the menu?! Will not only never order here again, now will actively tell people to avoid it when they're in town.
So to re-cap: Small portions, overpriced, they totally cheap out on the protein in entrees, and bad customer service when the owners response makes it sound like I am supposed to magically know what exactly the dish should have in it. The owner says dining in is always a better experience- yet the other reviews don't make me think that's true and also- THERE'S A PANDEMIC GOING ON. I didn't want to come dine-in. That's why I ordered in.
A cozy Italian restaurant with authentic and house made food. They start you out with this melt in your mouth bread, similar to a fresh Krispy Kreme but delicious Italian bread instead of donut, doused in butter and topped with parmesan cheese. I ordered the Serafino Salad. The portion size was enormous. It came with standard Italian salad items, including beets, artichoke hearts, carrots, sweet onions, tomatoes, cucumber, tiger shrimp and scallops. I didn't even finish my salad, which is rare in my case. My wife ordered the Salmon Felicia, which is salmon stuffed with lobster and all kinds of magnificent food. The pasta was perfect, in seasoning and texture. We will certainly be going back.
2nd time here. We've only been at odd in between hours, but the service and food does not suffer at all. Love the salad and the entrees, but that cake ya'll. . .
A change of ownership. So glad they didn't close I love the tasty food here the salad and the cream sauces are to die for. All dishes are the same as before. The new owner is very nice and still cozy atmosphere.
...the food and the staff are very good. We overlooked it a few times, but his arrogance was a real turnoff. You can check my reviewing history...I almost NEVER write a very negative review. Example: We were about to order and he says, "Come on, come on. I've got people to see." And, it we weren't dallying at all. Maybe he just didn't like us? I don't know. But, sometimes, you have to make a stand. He lost our business.
