Nice vibe and southern eats.

Great breakfast and drink choices. The mimosas were amazing!

Service was a little slow and not very attentive.

Excellent all around. Besides not having my favorite trout dish at Lucille's they killed it with the crab bene. Bloody Mary was phenomenal as well.

What an absolutely gorgeous place to get brunch. The building is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service is impeccable. This place is the epitome of good vibes. Highly recommended.

I'm editing my review from a few years ago due to my latest experience. The food of course was great but the service was terrible. I realize that being a waiter/waitress is a thankless job. But to my waitress, an apology goes a long way. I ordered a country breakfast with sweet potato hash and I got bacon instead. When I had to search for the waitress she seemed annoyed that I even said anything. "oh someone messed up" was what I was told. Ok true, the kitchen probably messed it up, but isn't it the job of the wait staff to ensure my meal is correct? IDK maybe I'm wrong. So no apology. To make matters worse, we felt rushed out. It was just a weird vibe. I've been going to Sassafras for years when they only had the Colfax location. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Considering I don't live near this location, I will think twice about coming back.
