Feels like I was thrown into Italy for dinner: very authentic- great fresh pasta, great wine, not so warm service.

Charming restaurant. Outdoor seating available. A beautiful, garden like atmosphere. Dined here last night and it was very busy. Couldn't hear ourselves talk. Other times I have visited this was not the case. Service is good. Italian food combined with American. Salmon is very good, good size portions. They handle special requests with ease. You are never rushed. Reservations are advised. While children are welcome, it is more conducive to adult dining. Price is average for this kind of restaurant. Not outrageously expensive and not cheap. Good for date night, special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, congratulations, thank yous, business meeting. Pleasant experience overall. Vegetarian options: You can make a request Dietary restrictions: If you don't want a sauce or u want something cooked differently they will oblige within reason Accommodating Parking: It is located in a small strip mall with ample parking. Not certain where one would park if lot was full. Doubt it would be an issue.

Been here twice 6 months apart, got sick BOTH TIMES. Also the entire restaurant smelt like a bathroom and no employee had an answer. Go elsewhere for Italian in Newport.

Great, solid and authentic Italian food. Must try. When they have their chicken soup, get it. I wish they’d make it a mainstay!
