Sundays at Sangria is a whole vibe. The DJs were fire. Had a great time. But the food....was so bland. My Red Snapper was fried to a tee, but not a bit of adobo or old bay was added. Shrimp n Grits was just as seasonless. We had Shrimp skewers as appetizer, thank God for the sauce, because this too had no seasoning. Unlimited brunch service was slow and we left sober.
Indulging at Sangria Cafe is like taking a flavorful journey through the vibrant tastes of the southern hemisphere. Their Latin fusion cuisine masterfully blends Puerto Rican, Dominican, Cuban, and more, delivering a tropical explosion of flavors. From spicy delights to simple yet sensational dishes, every bite is a celebration of zest and authenticity. But the star of the show? Undoubtedly, their Sangria – hands down the best in the Bronx! The atmosphere is always buzzing with great bartenders, lively DJ sets, electrifying live performances, and side-splitting comedy nights. Sangria Cafe isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience worth savoring again and again!"
Stumbled on this place from Queens…. Great as hell vibe… great food.. music.. service.. not trying to go hard just that good on first try ☺️☺️
The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was attentive. However, the food was just average, nothing stood out as exceptional. Additionally, the prices seemed a bit high for what was offered. It's worth a try if you're in the area, but don't expect to be blown away.
