Raised up on Sangos. Very grateful they’re still around, especially since Marie’s is closed. As far as the “hit or miss” review, you gotta know when to order. Go in person, if you don’t see ANY OLDER PEOPLE IN THE KITCHEN DONT ORDER. I will be honest and admit that lately, within the past 3-5 years they have younger people in the kitchen sometimes (I’m thinking their kids since it’s family owned) and when the younger ones are there, there’s a high chance of disappointment. So peep on the back thru the window and see who’s cooking. If you see THE OLDER MAN, order! You will not be disappointed. I love Sangos. They made me proud today. Plate full of delicious oxtail and gravy.
Wonderful food, been enjoying Sango for some 30 years for fantastic Jamaican food! Vegetarian options: Their tofu dishes are delicious.
I have been buying food for this restaurant for more than 18 years. Every dish is delicious and price is good too.
The Best Peas an rice hands down
I bought a large curry goat there today and the dam thing was burned to the point of throwing it away. They obviously scrape the burned pot bottom and knowingly / deliberately sell it to people. The worst $15 I ever wasted. Very upset about it. It's Ridiculous don't go there on a sunday !!
Excellent Jamaican cuisine!!! Breakfast, Lunch Dinner. The best!!!!
Will always recommend. Every dish so far a 10 and I'm a real foodie!
