Horrible experience. Terrible service and food!

Food is pretty much always tasty. The problem is the service. At this point I go in expecting service to be bad and that is definitely not good. 9/10 times I go in servers just hand off the food then never check on you again. Had to request a different server to get my check because my server never came back.

The quesoBierra is epic.... Reminds me of my first girlfriends grandma's cooking... Thank you.

We live in Reno but we will drive to Carson City occasionally just to enjoy the wonderful food and service at San Marcos. The shrimp dishes are particular favorites of our family - large shrimp wonderfully prepared in tacos, tostadas, or the coconut shrimps make a great meal also.0 Vegetarian options: The beans and rice are excellent plus cheese options.

Decided to try this place per word of mouth. Not at all what I was told. Food was bland, no real flavor. Service sucked: had two different servers with lack of communication between them. Think one was suppose to be our server and rhe other was a manager?? Tables way too close to each other that when the server served table next to ours her butt was in my face. Definitely will not be returning. But i will.say they had a nice tequila selection. Also isn't birra suppose to be crunchy, not soggy shelled meat???

Tables way too close to each other Service slow AF No tortillas with my fajitas, and the veggies were unseasoned, not fresh, and the portion was small. Chips bland and cold, salsa old. This IS NOT authentic Mexican food.

Great food, fast service, and a lovely atmosphere. The music is loud enough to hear but not so loud it makes it hard to hear your meal mates. It lends itself to a nice, relaxing time at lunch or dinner with friends. I recommend the Mole! Reminds me of the stuff one of my tias (aunt) used to make me when we'd visit! The plato Colorado was also delicious. I haven't had anything bad there! Try it all, come back and try something new! You'll enjoy it.
