Wonderful experience tonight. Abigail was my bartender and she was extremely sweet, knowledgeable, and personable. Had one of each oyster on the card to start, savage blondes were my favorite so I got three more of those after. Great tasting chowder, fresh tasting lobster roll (omg those potato chips), and tried 4 different cocktails, pineapple, hibiscus, grapefruit, and espresso martini. Each just as good as the last. Highly recommend this place to any Boston area seafood lover. Will definitely be back.
This place is 4.5 stars for me. The service was good, not as attentive as I'd expect from a high end restaurant. The food was good, but I cannot endorse the clam chowder as the best I've ever had and the lobster roll was quite small. The grande seafood tower was great and worth the cost. The beet salad was funny. See picture. I ate each cube but wished it had greens with it. The fried lobster and waffles was pretty good as was the mushroom toast. The bagel and lox was the best of our entrees and the best value for a heaping mound of smoked salmon. Our bill came to $410 incl tip, so it was definitely a splurge. I can't give it a 5 or 4 star as it really was a solid 4.5.
Was so excited to try this restaurant from the abundance of recommendations I read from Yelp and Reddit, and it truly didn't disappoint one bit. Our waiter (Kristen) was super helpful and attentive. When she took our order, she asked if we wanted our one order of clam chowder to be separated into two smaller bowls so we could more easily share. She also assured our food would come individually so we have time to finish before the next one comes out. So, onto the food - despite the prices, it was all so amazingly worth it. Torched Salmon Belly $19 - all the photos showed avocado under the torched salmon, but the new recipe comes with sushi rice. I think I would've liked the avocado better but this was still a solid dish, esp with the miso glaze sauce. Clam Chowder $14 - one of the best clam chowders I've ever had. It was so rich and smooth with lots of veggies. Lobster Roll (MKT/market price was $44) - so delicious and so full of lobster meat. We replaced the potato chips for fries for an extra $4 charge, but the fries were worth it. Everything was perfect here. No doubt I would come back if I were to ever visit Boston again!
