If you Don’t Mind Waiting 20 minutes for drink outside bar this is place for you !
My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner last night. Carlos was so awesome and personable. The food was absolutely delicious and our blueberry mocktails were so good!
My wife and I walked past this Salt7 many evenings. It always was an intriguing place. The outside bar, the tiny tables with the bright led table lights, usually very busy , most tables occupied... We headed out to Las Olas last week for a walk and to get dinner. Wifey was on a mission and practically dragged me over to Salt7 to my surprise. Ok Dear, we'll try it. We started with having to find the hostess.. Not out front, but inside the restaurant, new to me. Ok, very short wait at the inside bar and we get a riverwalk side table. Minus one of those cool led lights, which mentioned to the waitress, that we'd like to have one on our table. Yes, we were seated around sunset, so the table light was going to be useful and most of the other tables had them... Anyway, maybe waitress didn't hear me.. after 15 minutes, I went on a hunt to bring one back to our table. This was after we were served our salads and I noticed the table had no salt and pepper shakers. After hunting through the restaurant, I came back to our table with the shakers and a table lamp... Wifey ordered a martini and I a bottle of red wine. The waitress brought the wine and one wine glass.... then disappeared.. now I wasn't going to not share the wine , this perplexed us.. we needed a second glass.. so off I went in search of a wine glass... and brought one back from the inside bar.. it was like a scavenger hunt! Food.. overall it was uninspiring.. I paid 40$ for the gold leaf caviar mashed potatoes.. I didn't see any caviar in it.. and I've had better mashed potatoes from a box... oh well.. I won't bother with the rest, but it was all blah... I don't think their Ateam was playing that night...Wifey and I had a good time making jokes about the service and food. I walked away feeling like a Dolphins fan must feel after spending 500$ to see a game and they lose..ugh.. oh well, win some lose some.
We stopped by here didnt eat here, looked like a great place, pricey but then everywhere is in Ft Lauderdale if its quality Beautiful view of the river canal and homes
Placed on the river walk, the location offers serene views of the water activity. Server was attentive and professional. Food was excellent. Try the black salt margaritas. Parking: Paid lot two blocks away. Don't be 5 minutes late in picking up your auto or the grumpy meter maid will give you a $40 ticket.
Carlos was an UNBELIEVABLE server. He took care of 9 girls at dinner and was extremely attentive and even tho he was busy he was truly able to make sure we were well taken care of. Also, the tuna tar tar was the best I’ve ever had, even comparable to hawaii or San Diego. Serious an amazing experience and we will be back
