Salt Life Food Shack

Three hour wait for 3 people! But we were told we could sit outdoors on the roof with less of a wait. No problem fine. Temps were high 50s though with a strong wind from the ocean. They had big heaters but the heaters were broken and employees seemed frustrated they couldn’t get them working. it was freezing. Cokes we got tasted funny (like syrup was almost gone) then waited almost 20 minutes for an appetizer that was terrible and we left without ordering the rest of our meal. It was just too darn cold and we asked if we could be relocated somewhere better but most of the staff seemed frazzled and undertrained and it was very very busy. No one seemed to have an answer other than “sorry” The waitress however was sweet and clearly trying her best. So I can’t fault her. Management needs to try a little harder to make sure guests are comfortable. At least fill your propane tanks before dinner rush.

Janie was so awesome in every aspect! A true joy spending time with her. From the hostess stand to dinner and our server Janie this was a great experience. We will definitely be back. Quality food and out is the ordinary.

Disappointed about the food, bar level, unworthy of high price. I ordered grilled vegetables, not fried greasy vegetables. Fried calamari was mushy, not crispy at all.

Ate dinner at the rooftop. Group plate was good and the southern chicken sandwich was good. Busy on a Sunday evening so have to be a bit patient. Ate at the bar and the bar tender was busy. We were in not hurry so just enjoyed to evening outdoors on the rooftop bar. I definitely recommend. Parking: Valet and free self parking options

Over priced for what you get. Lacking in flavor. Nice that they have such a big outdoor patio. Service is slow and food takes a bit to come out. Definitely an overrated place but nice location.

Our meal was excellent!! I loved the bowl I ordered and my guy loved the huge chicken sandwich. The crunch will we had for an appetizer was delicious as well. Our server was excellent as well. Great atmosphere, love the upper deck outside, and there was good live music downstairs. Enjoyed our last dinner out on our trip here.

Our food order came out wrong but staff was very accommodating and rectified the issue without a problem. We did have to search for our server a couple times to order more drinks. Overall still a good experience and will go back.

Fantastic food cool interior very sweet staff

Food was good, service a little lacking. Asked for a low table near the live music. Got a high table on the second floor furthest away from the music. Could not hear the music even though the hostesses said we would.
