This place was recommended to me by most people I asked since visiting Austin, but I find it highly overrated. Meat was ok, honestly not amazing in flavor or texture/moisture and the rest of the brisket sandwich was bland, I needed to pour the salad dressing tasting sauce all over it to really be enjoyable. Coleslaw was a weird variety with tons of sesame. Service kind of slow. I could easily make a better brisket in my home oven, not to mention the slaw and sauce.
Quite tasty but expensive airport food.
Loved the BBQ!! Brisket was amazing and the ribs too. Kid-friendliness: Mini playground
I stopped by this place at the Austin airport on March 31, 2024. I originally wanted the loaded baked potato but they were out. I left and as I was leaving i overheard a couple of young ladies say they were going to order the potatoe as well. I informed them that they were out. They were so disappointed because they were told that was one of the best on the menu. They decided to go elsewhere, while I against my better judgement decided to try a two meat plate. BAD IDEA. The server boxed it to go and it was a hot mess. There was potato salad on top of coleslaw, the brisket was not tender and the sausage full of grease! I attempted to eat before boarding my flight but decided to wait until I got home (Dallas) Once home, I took one look and knew I couldn’t eat it. $27.54 WASTED. I’m hoping I can speak with someone in management for a full refund
