Excellent place for authentic Vietnamese food. "Cá nướng" is a must try.

I took my parents here the other day since my Dad felt like having hot soup. DO NOT give this business your hard earned money. A bowl of pho costs nearly $24??? It better have noodles made out of gold. The spring rolls were filled with noodles and nothing else. Typical. And when my dad asked for an extra bowl of both, even offering to pay extra, the both came in a toddler sized bowl with a tablespoon of room temperature broth. Even our waiter had attitude. Something must have crawled up her panties.

I came here to celebrate with my extended family and got their fried fish. While this fish might seem pricey, it could feed 4-5 people given the sides of vegetables and banh hoi (noodles) that you can use to make your own fish spring roll. The baked fish had crispy skin and moist flesh and was seasoned with green onion and peanuts. I loved the fish! The vegetables were not enough so we had to order extra which apparently was extra $3. I wish the vegetable portions were larger. We also got chao tom (free appetizer with yelp check in) which was unspectacular and overpriced.

Saigon block is the place we always choose whenever come to Garland, but today is our the worst come ever, inside was cold and we just wanna ask the staff for the heat, and one guy ask us back with question “How long have you stayed in Texas and you don’t know how’s cold in Texas?”
