Food was not up to par especially for the price. This place is way overated! Guarantee we will not be back.

Amazing Dinner

We made reservations for 4 and were sat essentially in the outdated adjacent lobby right next to an old outdated white painted gazebo at a tiny table with bright lighting. Hostess walked right by the other nicer looking restaurant section. The first round of expresso martinis were tasty and garnished. Second round of expresso martinis lascked garnish and weren't as good. For $18 a martini, they should be consistent, tasty and garnished. Nothing special about the meal. One of the steaks was overcooked and sent back. The cost was over $100 a person. I expected so much more from Ruth Chris steak house. Will not return in Birmingham or any other place for that matter.

Went here for a wedding reception and everything was absolutely lovely.

Tonight my husband and I went to Ruth Chris for the first time. We got married yesterday and decided to come here to celebrate. We had a 6:15 reservation and when we arrived we were seated promptly. Kayla was our server and time we were seated she instantly came to the table. I have to say that Kayla is a true gem. Her personality and attention to detail were top notch. I want management to know that you all are very fortunate to have a person like Kayla on your team. I observed her waiting 4 tables while giving each one her full attention. She gave us recommendations for drinks and they were spot on. In my opinion she deserves employee of the month or some token to show her that her efforts are not going unnoticed. Kayla if you read this, "Thank You for your kindness."

Our meal was negatively affected by subpar service, which included being seated apart from the rest of the diners and receiving little to no attention from the staff, leading to an excessive delay (over one and a half hours) in receiving our order. Despite this, the ambient surroundings seemed encouraging at first.
