Terrible coffee and insanely expensive. Do not go here unless you absolutely have to.
Thai style chicken noodle thing was yucky!!!
$4 bottle of generic water is worth a 1 star review
Love there coffee.very favorable .pastries are very good .one of my favorite places to coming and get a drink of coffee
One of the staff she was so rude. The pecan muffin was good coffee was ok
There's only one size for coffees (16 fl oz I think) but the coffee to ratio is very low (weak drinks, too much milk). If you get a coffee here, definitely add another shot of espresso, at least. I would prefer a small size beverage just to get the ratio right.
Unintuitive self serve machines. I didn’t see one customer successfully get what they wanted out of half a dozen. No instructions. Then the machine went out of order while I was using it. Ok coffee once I managed to get it to give me something - not what I wanted but something. No creamer/sugar available so I assume if I read a manual there would be a way to get the machine to give me some - but there were no obvious options for this. +1 star for calm, friendly staff trying to help people and simultaneously work the register.
Ruta Maya is the ONLY place in the airport serving fresh baked items. Literally every other restaurant/kiosk/cafe (even Jo's coffee- which is a shame) serves identical, mass-produced baked items that were shipped to the airport in individual plastic bags from who knows where. Ruta Maya gets 5 stars for: great coffee; fresh pastries from Quacks bakery, local to Austin; extremely reasonable prices; and very pleasant staff.
