I came in at around 7pm on a Thursday expecting a relatively quick meal. There was a 5 minute wait for one person for a communal seat in the middle of the dining area. I ended up ordering the butternut squash and the chicken. The butternut squash plate was OK! However, I cannot assess the chicken fairly since I had to take it to go. Unfortunately I had been waiting a long time for my food and I had to leave at 8:30pm. They were able to package my food for me to take as I walked out the door. For what it's worth, the oolong tea was delicious and the service was friendly! I may consider returning to try the pasta in the distant future when I have at least two hours set aside for dinner. Parking: Free street parking but you may have to find some a few blocks down. I parked in front of another restaurant that did not have valet running that day with their permission.
Ive been coming to RAD since they opened. It's a must every time we come to Nashville. Their pasta game is always insane. Last night we had the agnolotti and mushroom pasta. The agnolotti was super flavorful, bright and down right delicious. We love sitting at the bar bc their bartenders are usually great to chat with and most importantly there is more room for the pasta bowls and plates. Tanner was spot on with his recommendations, he made an excellent old fashioned too.
Excellent innovative food that changes constantly. Sweet potato fritters and butternut squash were phenomenal starters.
Let me start by saying the service was excellent! With all the good things I have heard about this place, the food was edible at best. Almost everything was bland and luke warm. I will give the bartender props since the Out Speaking the Kings cocktail was by far the most interesting and well balanced item we ordered. The second best was Southern Grist's Teal IPA. Overall disappointing.
They have mastered the chemistry of food. Every single bite of the salad was mind blowing Pork was unbelievable and the service staff outstanding
Lots of recommendations led us to Rolf. The service and ambience was top notch. The drinks were amazingly crafted too. The food was average , good but have had better meals at similar restaurants. Lacked the knock out punch!
Wow! My birthday dinner was divine! We made some new friends and the champagne recommendations was phenomenal ☃️ ❄ Merry Christmas to our wonderful Germantown neighbors, thank you ,T-roy and Lee
Walked in, 7pm (Monday) to bar with 2 empty seats. Hostess, runs over and askes if I have a reservation. I said no, but just getting a drink (place is 60% full). She was arrogant and asked me to walk over to the stand to check for openings. Evidently, you can reserve 2 seats at the bar but failed to mention that (put up signs) The bartender asks me the SAME questions, and if I would move down but there was no seat. This guy's tude (both arm sleeve tats) was worse than hers and we had "words". I would have said much more hadn't people eating at the bar. A Mgr noticed and tried to do damage control but I wasnt going to spend 1 cent there. Food might be amazing but the uppity attitudes and better than anyone than the person trying to give you money ....Please.
