Solid cantina. I enjoyed a fantastic fish (fresh red snapper) burrito served open face. ( No tortilla, served on a plate.) Everything was well prepared, well seasoned, with fresh ingredients. Low key, easygoing surf decorated hang out with a great patio.
Not sure what’s with the hype.. I mean I like that they had seating outside and even on a cold la night it didn’t feel cold eating. The Birria tacos were fantastic and the carne asada plate left a lot to be desired from a flavor and overcooked standpoint, that with a 24$ price point I expected more from. Good service. The shrimp tacos were a bit much, way too many ingredients and too wet/saucey. Seemed like they had solid nachos as well, since we got the app platter (wouldn’t recommend, get actual a la carte ones instead)
This has been a family favorite for many years. Great place to go with friends and family. My favorite is the chicken enchiladas suizas <3 Also, a stellar appetizer is the mashed potato tacos.
Albondiga soup delicious rice and beans lack that Mexican taste
We had dinner at Riviera and we weren't disappointed ! There were 5 of us and we all ordered differently. Everyone in our party enjoyed their order. Drinks were excellent. In spite of the size of the crowd, we all got our orders and quickly. Chips and salsa were excellent as well. Would dine here again !
Still using plastic straws, which is illegal in CA. Also insanely overpriced - $20 carne asada burrito
This place has good food and the staff are nice. It can get a bit busy so make sure you get on the waitlist asap. The only real negative from someone that doesn't drink is that their ice tea is not good. Parking can be difficult if the area is busy.
