Great for a family dinner
I'm not sure what this was. It's not like any brisket I've ever had before. Gray, rubbery, dry, cut unusually thick. See the pictures to confirm. It's definitely not worth the high $18 price. The mac and cheese had a soapy aftertaste. The baked beans were not slow-cooked or incorporated into the sauce, so they were pretty bland and hard. The okra had stiff, inedible pieces in it. I don't know if they were stems or what. I had to spit them out not once or twice but three times, with a piece getting stuck in my throat before throwing the rest away. I gave an extra star because the hostess was a sweetheart, and the atmosphere felt friendly for the short amount of time that I was in there, but the food was a major disappointment. The quality certainly does not justify the high cost.
One of our favorite places. No waiting, great food, reasonable prices.
the rips were dry tasteless
The best of the best. I live 900 miles aways and will not eat baby back ribs anywhere else other than this Rib City. I wish they would ship them out on dry ice so I could have them more often.
