Average food & low quality service. The restaurant atmosphere is charming. The server took awhile to get to us even though she had one other table. She was forgetful. She messed up my food order twice. Once I finally got my food it was very mediocre. I recommend eating at a different restaurant outside of the hotel.
Went here in a group of 9. The food was ok, not worth the price for me. Lobster was tough, oysters were small, etc. Not bad but nothing to make me wanna come back for. The main let down was the service. Despite being really empty (we went off peak) service was slow. Had to get up multiple times and ask the bar for things like drink refills, plates, utensils. Bill was messed up, but what frustrated me the most was I asked any dishes with nuts be told to us so we could place it away from my friend with allergies. Server wrote a note and then proceeded to put burrata with pesto right in front of my friend without saying anything. I'm super paranoid about things like that and luckily caught it in time.
Disappointing for a restaurant in such a nice hotel. We came here because we were staying at the hotel and had “experience credit” to use. We got the coconut curry with chicken and the katsu chicken. The chicken in both was dry and overcooked. Flavor was good. Drinks were fine but nothing special.
Honestly, this was the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had; great quality and excellent service. Our server, Jade, was very friendly, informative and attentive. Even if I’m not staying at Fairmont, I would come back here for their breakfast.
Had breakfast. Toast was extra. Potatoes were very salty to the point of unedible. Server did offer to replace but I was already finished my meal. Toast should be a given and potatoes a side option. I would have given 5 stars for perfection. This was good but not perfect, for the hotel and price point it should have been.
This is a very very nice hotel. And I dont say very very very often.
