This place is awesome. Located in Colonia neighborhood which is largely migrant and start up families. This lady caters to migrant workers. They prepare lunches for them to be picked up as early 5am and has a monthly meal program for them. Their food is prepared daily and only enough for the day so some items may not be available all day. All fresh, handmade tortillas. You can extras for more $. Their specialty is the Carne asada plate as it is always super tender. I've tried, bistek con papas, carnitas, sopes and enchiladas. All good, nothing to die for, but fresh. Parking is a nightmare but it's alway changing. I have yet to find their phone number to order take out, but I mostly eat in the diner. Seating is limited, service is descent. It's good food and she does a good cause. I eat there to support her cause, plus I get a great meal. Try it out.
