Red Lobster was great . Service was amazing Sorry they closed in Grosmont. Parking: Lots of space.
Glad to still have resturant to get seafood at a reasonable price.
Been eating here a few times a year for over a decade. The service and atmosphere is excellent but the food quality has dropped off. Perhaps the food quality fluctuates up and down based on the season, but 2 weeks ago I couldn't even bear to eat the seafood stuffed mushrooms.
I must say since COVID a lot of the food places have gone completely down. Red Lobster used to be my favorite place to go too. I haven't been in a long time and decided to take my hubby for the first time. We went yesterday around 12pm and had to wait over 20mins just to be seated. The young lady said it was only 3 servers and that might be including the bar. I was already kind of annoyed by the wait on a Monday afternoon. The server was rushy I assumed because she had so many tables at one time to wait. My hubby ordered the Filet Mignon Medium Rare and wanted the sides but the server made him feel like he had to have sides, even though I insisted he didn't want any. I definitely didn't like the way she made him feel pressured to have sides. I ordered the Grilled Lobster, shrimp and salmon. I asked the server can I change the lobster tail to the Caribbean Rock lobster tail, she acted as if she didn't want to go ask for one I told her I didn't mind waiting for her to go ask to see what the price difference would be, again she was hesitant to go ask and again I asked can she go see. The difference was $8 which I said fine too again I didn't mind because I wanted the other lobster tail, but she made it seem like such a big deal. Anyway I ordered it and the lobster dip. The lobster dip was horrible, chips were wrong and it tasted weird like fishy more than it should be. I sent it back couldn't eat it. My sides were broccoli and the loaded lobster baked potato. Didn't eat the potato sent it back, it was so basic, no flavor and the lobster didn't taste right. My husband hated his food. He said it had no seasoning, it was worse than Outback and he even added his own salt n pepper and drown the steak in A1 sauce which he doesn't even use. He only ate it to not be rude and didn't want me to make a fuss about it. However the manger did come over extremely nice and understanding. Forgive me I forgot his name. I voiced my concerns with him about the quality in food and how it was my hubby first time here and he didn't like it at all. My meal was actually good and full of flavor minus the potato. Overall no good. His first time here was aweful and he didn't like it at all. We had Long Island and Mango Lemonade for drinks that was good. We usually eat at Morton's Steakhouse or Hell's Kitchen but I wanted to go to Red Lobster because I love seafood, I hought it was still good how it used to be and it was Lobster Fest which I always miss so finally caught it but it was definitely not worth over $100 ♀️.
Anita, our server, was excellent and attentive. Food was great too! This Red Lobster is blessed to have such a wonderful model employee. Wheelchair accessibility: Avaliable and close to the entrance.
