There's a wide selection of dessert and pastries. The brownie was more cakey than fudgy, so it wasn't my ideal browie , but I enjoyed the chocolate vanilla cupcake because the frosting was a fudgy ganache that tasted great by itself and on the cupcake which was nice and moist. Worth stopping by if you're in the area and in dire need of a little treat! Vegetarian options: Many good-looking vegan options
The croissants at this place are PHENOMENAL. I tried them for the first time last weekend and went back again this weekend! I am telling anyone who will listen that they need to try these things.
I've been frequenting this location for the last 10 years and have always loved the quality and craft of dessert from Quacks... However, the price gouging has gotten out of control. I have always loved the tiramisu. Just 3 years ago it was 4.50 per slice. Last summer it was 6.00 per slice. Now it is 8.00 per slice. Today, I paid nearly double what I did just a couple years ago and looking at the slice -- it's also close to half the size. I'll dissapointingly say, today was the last time I'll be in quacks. But many good memories come from there. Overall, a half slice of pie shouldn't cost double what a full slice used to. We've got inflation, but come on.
Been coming here for over a decade. Superb customer service and decadent treats. Good vibes, too!
I really love the baked goods and coffee here! I'm super impressed by how many vegan options they have here. However, the service here can be hit or miss. I do wish that they had more gluten free options; it seems like they might have this based on their vegan friendly array of food, but there is actually nothing gluten free here except coffee. I am not gluten free, so it doesn't affect me, but I have many friends who are who I wish could enjoy this establishment the way I can (:
Recently stopped by for some key lime pie because of the good reviews and was a bit disappointed. The slice was delicious, but extremely small. Way too overpriced for the tiny portion of pie that you receive.
Ginger Cookie is the best coffee dipping baked good in Travis county
I ordered a snickerdoodle cookie and a brownie. The person working at the bakery handed me the bag, I paid, and left. Since there’s nowhere to eat at the bakery, I drove home. Disappointed to discover no snickerdoodle but an oatmeal raisin cookie instead. IYKYK. :(
i accidentally found the bakery looking for doughnuts. but when i tell you it has the best mistake i could have ever made. i ordered a few cookies and a slice of coconut pie. let’s say i didn’t even make it out the parking lot . my new favorite Bakery.
