Portico Italian Social Food

We were fortunate enough to get a table without a reservation, the staff was extremely friendly. I loved the olives, bread and olive oil/balsamic appetizer, wine was delicious, and the pasta we had was really fresh. We ordered the bolognese and tortellini, also enjoyed the tiramisu and cannoli they had for dessert.

I had a reservation booked in Open Table for 6:45 and they refused to serve me. Said they were closing early due to the rain. When I said I braved the rain to come they told me to get out. They offered to give me some food to go but walking around with hot Italian food in the rain didn’t sound appealing to me even though the food smelled delicious. Rude to not honor a reservation.

We love Portico! We have been several times. It’s small, family owned and delicious. We enjoy it thoroughly every time. We have had great friendly service and wonderful food each visit. The wedding cake is light and a must have! See you next time.

This is my favorite hidden gem. Food is fantastic. Don’t go here! I want to keep it all for myself!

I'm very picky about my Italian food as I'm Italian but it was pretty good for a small restaurant. Lunch menu is small. Very relaxed atmosphere. Reasonable priced. I enjoyed it. Going back for Valentine's Day.

Portico is a terrific small Italian "bistro-style" restaurant: a casual restaurant that serves simple, moderately priced food in a modest setting. The owner is from Bologna, Italy and the food is very authentic without being too precious or expensive. Home made pastas and great simple dishes. I've had dinner with friends here five times and it was good every time (and I will return.) This may be my favorite local Italian restaurant because it tastes good, it's authentic, and it's not over-priced fad food. I am a fan.

Racist - The upper management/ Owner here is very racist. When we walked in we were immediately seated in the back of an empty restaurant. The micro aggression were extremely blatant. Food- the food was extremely bland and needed seasoning. Our food came straight out of the microwave. NOT Family Friendly - Some of the staff was extremely rude to my child. The only saving grace of this place was a waiter, named Henry. There was another male waiter, who was also very kind. I don’t recommend this place if your skin is a little darker, and if you have children. There are much better Italian restaurants elsewhere. Kid-friendliness: Not kid and family friendly at all.

Finally an authentic Italian restaurant! You can watch them make your pasta by hand. The bread is also made from scratch. Absolutely delicious! Excellent wine, appetizer, entree and dessert. We had the best time and will return to try everything else on the menu. Thank you!❤️❤️❤️
