I am deeply disappointed to report a particularly unsatisfactory experience at the Pollo Tropical drive-thru today. Despite the restaurant's previous good standards, my latest visit raised serious concerns about both food safety and customer service quality. Upon returning to work after picking up my order, I realized there was no receipt included in the bag. More critically, the portion of chicken I received was merely a quarter instead of the half I ordered and paid for. To my dismay, the chicken appeared old, featuring blackened bone edges an indication it may have been spoiled. Additionally, the accompanying salad was inedible, showing signs of spoilage with yellow and dark brown spots throughout. It is unacceptable to serve food in such a state to customers. It also seems there was a significant error in order processing. Although the staff member confirmed my order verbally, what I received was completely different. This experience compels me to question the oversight and employee training at this location. Unfortunately, I find myself compelled to share that I will not be returning to this Pollo Tropical unless there are immediate improvements in food handling and customer service. I hope this review will be taken as constructive feedback to regain the high standards once observed here.
