My son comes in from CO about 2 times a year. This is his favorite place to eat. Great food great service. Well be back when he comes home again.
Tasted like a big tostinos pizza to be totally honest
We live over 50 miles away. Last week brought us to Lafayette twice. We had dinner both nights at this Pizza king. Both nights were great!! First night pepperoni and sausage pizza and garlic cheese bread plus soft drinks. The end of the week I asked my husband where he wanted to eat he said he didn't mind where. I said I really am wanting to go to the Pizza king again loved their pizza and the restaurant itself. He said that's what he was thinking! He didn't think I would want it again since we had been there on Tuesday! I'm wondering right now do we need to run to Lafayette this week?! Thanks for having a nice place with great food!
The Stromboli was Top Notch!!! And where else can you get your drink served to you by a train!!! Very cool Atmosphere!
Service was ok, everyone was polite. The food however was pretty bad. My potato skins weren't even brown or crispy and no seasoning. I asked for chili on them but that was just a dab of the same kind of chili you get on a gas station hot dog. Then the Buffalo wings. These were clearly taken from a freezer bag, pre sauced, and then deep friend. It's the laziest approach to wings I have ever seen. Obviously they were dry and lacked flavor. I spent $18 for 6 wings and 4 skins. I could have gone to BW3s for the same price and the food would have been fresh. It's shameful. Pizza King was always my favorite place growing up, but the food quality is just deplorable these days. It's no wonder these shops are going out of business.
