On 10/8/2023 I placed an order online at the Pizza Hut website. I was given an estimate of 34-45 minutes for delivery. Over an hour later (I waited thinking oh they’re just busy tonight), I called because my tracker on the site and the text message I got still listed my order as being “prepared”. The Order Hotline could not locate my order with my name, the order number I was given in my confirmation email (apparently they can’t search by order number at all), or my phone number. I was transferred directly to the store where they had a hard time finding the order, only to be told it was canceled because a “Dasher” refused to pick it up. I then found out this Pizza Hut outsources all delivery orders to Door Dash exclusively. No where on the website does it state this, and I was never informed my order had been canceled. I waited over an hour and had to call to learn this. My only saving grace is that my card was not charged. Never ordering Pizza Hut again.
