High Tide at the Steelyard

I prefer this location over the Gilbert one. Better ambiance and service. Especially ially enjoy the oysters. Salmon and pasta is Excellent as well.

I ordered a ceviche and got a tomato soup with three shrimp and the fish they use for California rolls. The tomato didn't have any taste. I was able to take a closer look because I took a half off the order home. No, I didn't take a picture. I was about to take it back to the restaurant.

Did a pre valentines dinner. 2nd time there. Surprised how few fish dishes offered. Had sashimi, very good but $$. Lobster bisque is not like any I've had. Very thick, consistency of pudding not soup. Lots of flour or corn starch. Very heavy. Would not order again. Icelandic salmon was very good. Might go back 50/50.

It was an odd location horrible views just of parking lot n street . Front desk seemed confused , service was great dinner was outstanding ! Although the sea bass was out if this world in flavor , but there 4 cherry tomatoes sliced seasoned cold !! Had 2 pieces of asparagus , risotto was 2 tablespoons little salty , fish n chips so yummy , ahi tuna it was a lot but just okay , oysters yummy . I , would say avoid their desserts Horrible !! My creme brûlée was like warm pudding tasteless !! The key lime pie they forgot the lime !!! Very blah ! Restaurant it’s self looks out of place in that plaza (it’s a lunchtime plaza with horrible parking very little parking available ) the prices are way to high for that area . They should be like downtown Chandler or Alma school & Riggs / ocotillo area .

Our waitress was amazing. Our food was amazing. We had a reservation for 12 at 7, didn’t get sat until 7:30 due to a large party not wanting to leave. The 12 of us were sat at a table made for maybe 8. It was tight. Just before our dinner was served around 8:30 that other table finally got up. So our awesome waitress Abby let us move and we had so much more room!! The food and amazing waitress helped make up for us being packed into the corner of a room for an hour like a pack of gum. Would come back for sure, but would kindly ask that we be accommodated for our party size. I had the diver scallops. Everyone was very happy with their orders. We basically ordered one of every appetizer too!

Wonderful meal and great service, every time!

Love this place. Happy hour is awesome. Josh rocks and always takes care of us. The food is always great. Good for date night or hanging out with friends.
