Pretty good deep dish. It's super cheesy and very flavorful. We ordered to go but the inside restaurant seemed really vibey
Pretty good! A little pricey but that's to be expected for the location. Crust was crunchy but still melted in your mouth after a chew, and the flavor was good, not special but good. Not the best deep dish in the city but it definitely scratches the itch.
Have visited Chicago a few times now and this was my favorite Italian beef. Atmosphere was great and prices reasonable.
I came to the restaurant and was seated promptly. The waiter took our order after 5 minutes or so and I requested a Thin buttercrust half sausage and half pepperoni and what I received was a overcooked regular thin crust pizza. It did not have the buttercrust that Pizano's is known for; and the waiter claimed "All our thin crusts are buttercrust" yet I have had actual buttercrust from the Pizano's on Madison and it was way different than what I was served. Very disappointing as the main reason I went was for their Buttercrust Pizza. Even if you order on the website there is an option to get the premium buttercrust pizza. The waiter seemed clueless on that fact and it ruined our lunch. Will not return to this location again. I'll be sticking to the one on Madison from now on.
