MARK YOUR BUSINESS AS CLOSED! THIS GOOGLE PAGE IS SHOWING YOU OPEN AND STILL ALLOWING ORDERS! On 12/15/2023 I learned they are closed as a business. Apparently this was sold according to the people who were hanging out in the parking lot. It will let you place an order and take your money and will even send you a confirmation text as if the order is recieved then the order is processing but they are not open as a business any longer.

Ordered online for pickup then went to business and store is closed..still accepting payments but place is shutdown. No clear way to get the money back. What a joke scam

No taste, foods wack, run down place and people. Lots of Crack heads outside just hanging around

I placed an online order with the option to pay cash inside, which is the option that I chose. I waited several hours for someone to confirm the order. To my surprise, it never happened. The order was canceled . I live over 45 minutes away from this establishment, so I wanted to confirm before heading to the restaurant. Unfortunately, this place is too unprofessional to Confirm orders, so customers will know The order has been received by management. So much for supporting a Old neighborhood business.

I'm hungry just thinking about their food.

A local legend and one you can't miss while driving by. Open late which is appreciated. Ordered at the counter, very cramped inside and definitely take out only. Parking lot had a few people meandering but no one ordering. Food took a while and left a lot to be desired. Beef sausage was dry and pulled pork was not only soaked with sauce but tough. Sides were unremarkable and worth skipping. For local BBQ I'd look elsewhere.

Ordered online, received the wrong order completely. The number is not working to call and tell them to get a new delivery guy.

Takeout joint that I've been going to for many years when I have a hankering for soul food/bbq. Smoked BBQ chicken, dry rub ribs, and brisket on Fridays. Usually order the beans, mac, greens and/or slaw for sides--and sweet potato pie. Both sweet and hot sauces are my favorite sauce anywhere, with a preference for the hot. Service at the counter can be a little disorganized, but just had a beautiful 1/2 chicken dinner delivered very quickly on a Saturday night. Very flavorful smoky chicken, not too salty or dried out as some bbq chicken can be. Out of many meals I had 1 chicken be a little dry, but that was only once. My favorite bbq in Boston. Much prefer it to Blue Ribbon.
