Was suspicious at first of hotel food and vegan options, but Thier chef brought this vegan "Irishman" out a twist on a Reuben that is very tasty and savory
Better sticky toffee pudding than Gordon Ramsay. Best staff also.
DO NOT EAT HERE!! If I could give the meal -infinity stars I would. I strongly urge you to avoid this place at all costs if you order food. I am livid. The waitress tried to bring me things I didn't order to make up for the fact that it took hours to make one dish. When the salmon finally came out, it was tough and was literally the worst salmon I have ever had in my life. I couldn't finish it.
Listen. I appreciate a nice breakfast buffet. Made to order omelettes are nice and all, but almost all hotels dont charge you for the breakfast buffet. Nice ones too. Fairmont hotels are around the same rate and include free breakfast buffets at an even higher level, plus free lunch, dinner, alcohol, midnight snacks etc. Just kind of odd to expect people to pay 30 bucks for breakfast in a hotel. Just from personal experience, no matter how nice you make it, if I'm paying hundreds of dollars, you can make me a couple of eggs without charging me.
I don't recommend this place for large groups. They don't tell you they don't do separate checks until your ready to pay. Food was good though.
The service at the bar was very attentive, the drinks were well prepared and the burger was really good.
The food was good but the wait staff was slow and didn't orders right
Wait staff doesn't care the host made it seem like we were bothering him. Sat infront of the service station and 2 people were there didn't come over. Didn't make it past that got up and left only plus it looks nice.
Has a bit more character than your average hotel bar and restaurant. Food is a step up from the typical hotel fare, but still your basic pub grub. The fish tacos were excellent, with the grilled and blackened fish well seasoned and with a nice aioli sauce with a not-overpowering kick. Breakfast buffet is a bit steep, but made-to-order omelets and waffles are included with the buffet. Otherwise, standard choices of scrambled eggs, pork sausage (these were quite good), bacon, oatmeal, Danish, breads, cereal, standard melon/pineapple fresh fruits, and yogurts. Includes coffee/tea. No plant-based *meat* or *egg* alternatives.
