Got lunch here with a friend on Sunday. The vibe inside is great! I loved the sangria here. Also highly recommend their ropa vieja with Spanish rice! Their seafood options are also great!
Nice place to try some Spanish cuisine. Good tapas and generous portions. Good sangria. Affordable prices for the city.
Muy buena comida. Buen lugar para pasar en familia
Went on a Friday eve around 7:45pm. We got there 10 min early and had a reservation. We didn’t get a table till 8:15, with the host, though polite kept saying one table is wrapping up. The food is decent (nothing extraordinary), the drinks are extremely well priced though! Although we didn’t get the paella, which seemed like the most popular dish. The tapas were good but the options are pretty repetitive, garlic sautéd shrimp, garlic sauted chicken, garlic sauted mushrooms. The service is pretty sub par, expect long waits and no follow-ups. Might be better on a less crowded night but I think there are better options in SF.
I'm a big fan of squid ink paella and this is one of the best I've tasted in my travel experiences, including the paellas I tried in Madrid and Valencia in Spain, and a Spanish restaurant in San Jose, Bay Area. We were really delighted and pleased with the squid ink paella - good texture of rice, not overly salty and calamari were perfectly cooked. We loved the happy hour Sangria (ordered a pitcher), fresh oysters were great and the deep fried anchovies were tasty (although it would be better if crispier). Friendly and extremely efficient staff. We'll come back very soon for the second round!!!
Great food and really enjoyed the sangria.
