Great service and food. Wife and I dined there for our 21st anniversary.
Always a great place for dinner. Choose the cheese cart before (or in place of) dessert.
The food was good and the service was exceptional. We had the soup du jour and French onion soup for apps then steak frite and lamb for dinner. Our only complaint was the seating. We essentially were eating with 2 other couples. The tables were crammed and the table next to us was particularly loud. We couldn’t have a conversation or really enjoy the experience. After 5 minutes of leaning in to try to talk we gave up, ate quickly and left. I would strongly advise against going here for a table of 2.
If Medieval Times was a restaurant. Lol. Annoying over the top service.
Nice French spot. Good food, generally tasty. Escargot had a funny sour note in the butter. Not pretentious. Extensive French wine list. Wish the profiteroles had Chantilly inside instead of ice cream.
I had a surprisingly disappointing dining experience during Baltimore Restaurant Week recently. I had never eaten here and was excited to finally try it. I ordered the Bronzino which sounded amazing. Maybe because it was restaurant week and they were trying to accommodate a large number of people, but the plate was very unappetizing to look at. The spinach looked like it had been thrown on the plate. The fillet was very thin. The skin on the fillet was wimpy. The mustard was a blob on the plate. It would have been better if the skin was taken off or crisped and the fillet was thicker. The salad I had as my first course tasted good but was way over-salted. The cheesecake I had for dessert was just okay. Seemed a bit burned to me. If I go back, it won’t be during Restaurant Week. I’ll see if the food is better then.
