Pete's Pizza #2

I ordered over the phone with my debit card pizza was great however if you do this make sure you write your total on the receipt after signing I forgot to and at 1am got an updated price on my account from the original I payed by an extra 11$ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Omg I love stuffed pizza and have tried it from everywhere but this is the place I keep coming back to cause I know it’ll be so good every time. The sauce is a little sweeter than most which I think is a part of what makes it so good and the crust is never soggy. I drive 15 minutes to my house and by the time I get there, there’s always still the best cheese pull that comes from it.

terrible terrible terrible service do not go here took 30 minutes for the first person to talk to us then our food comes 1:30 hour later this is just a disgrace of a restaurant and whoever runs this should be damn ashamed of themselves at providing such a poor restaurant in the community

Terrible terrible. I am so so sad to write this review. Pete’s has always been my #1 pizza place in the city. Probably ever. Anytime anyone asked for recommendations I always recommended Pete’s. The quality of Pete’s has gone DOWN. Back before the remodel and even recently they were amazing! I remember we saw it on Chicagos Best and we went, the restaurant was super tiny and antique with just a few booths, then they remodeled and got bigger, but now they’ve lost it. The last time I ate here with my sister, we had pizza and it gave us food poisoning later that night. This place has never once made me sick and I tend to avoid a restaurant permanently if they make me sick. However, today is my birthday and my husband asked what I wanted for dinner I said let’s order Pete’s, it’s been a while, despite the food poisoning Pete’s has always held a special place in my heart. We ordered $100 of food ($95 to be exact) and everything was HORRIBLE. the fries weren’t fully cooked, they were soggy and still had some crunch to them, the onion rings were very dry and fell apart easily, also not fully cooked, our pizza and panzarotti were terrible too. The sauce recipe has definitely changed because it lacks flavor and it tasted super watered down and our panzarotti, upon cutting it, a bunch of watered down sauce came out and the cheese was still somewhat shredded and not fully melted. The fettuccine Alfredo lacked flavor and was covered in a TON of sauce. Now I have all this food hoping to have leftovers for tomorrow and I don’t even want the leftovers. Overall, everything was terrible, awful, and I really wish I could get my money back because this was a waste of money. Never ordering from Pete’s again, sorry :((((

The absolute worst pizza place ever. Pizza under cooked soggy and wet, wings breaded, incredibly tiny and undercooked. It was all breading and no meat. Pizza was literally watery just disgusting, not one bite was satisfying, they should be barred from ever being allowed to make pizza or food permanently. Ugh disgusting.
