Loved everything. Iggy was very attentive, friendly and offered great customer service. My only suggestion to improve is to replace the uncomfortable chairs with something more comfortable. The front wood frame part on the chair seat was hurting me under my thighs. Thanks.
The food it’s ok, but the manager/honor it’s rude with employees and with Uber eats drivers … it’s ridiculous. I hope this guys find a new job soon.
Went for the first time today. Menu has multiple different options and they label the gluten free options. We tried to order the lunch special but were told it ended an hour prior but didn't see it labeled. We got 2 different pasta dishes and were pleased with both. Dietary restrictions: They label the gluten free options
Wow ever since they moved from El Cajon to Mission Valley I have been extremely disappointed in the service! The "man" that works as the cashier is completely rude and disrespectful every single time I go, he seems to be racist. They didn't have one thing that was included in my order so they didn't make anything and I had three items. Also my salad that didn't include meat, they added prosciutto after I told them I was a vegetarian. They severely lack common sense and customer service skills. I will be letting everyone I know to stay away from this location. We'll have to find a more authentic Italian place and that will be easy. Vegetarian options: Put meat on my vegetarian dish. Dietary restrictions: Put meat on my vegetarian dish.
Pesto Italian Craft Kitchen continues to impress with their terrific pizzas, pastas, salads, and paninis. I've returned several times since 2021 and have had several different items, including a most recent Pistachio Burrata Pizza with imported prosciutto and a garnish of chopped pistachios and arugula. The pizza's crust is fantastic and offers great texture and flavor. The milky mozzarella cheese with the prosciutto is bliss. I liked that they were not heavy-handed on the balsamic but drizzled just enough to bring the pizza together nicely. On a previous date, I had the gnocchi Verona with pesto, bacon, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms. If you like gnocchi and pesto, this one is a winner. New on their menu for spring is the vegetable calzone filled with fresh crisp vegetables and harvest pear salad. They are both wonderful. A while back, I had the Prime Steak Panini with a delicious and juicy prime flat iron steak. The panini comes with "Prime steak, pesto, banana peppers, provolone cheese, pickled cucumber and arugula" (Pesto Italian Craft Kitchen, 2024). This panini is a must if you like steak and paninis. It's a winner! One thing I love about Pesto Craft Kitchen is that every time I return, they seem to be elevated their food to new heights.
Food is fresh. Many options. Wonderful atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Yummy!
This place was cool!! Happy hour prices from 2-5 Monday-Friday. $8 cocktails and $5 food Meatball was ok.. Burrata was my fav, I think!? Garlic knots... not bad. If you shop in Mission Valley and need a little something, you should stop in.
