It's a quiet place tucked back off the freeway. Open for breakfast and lunch, the menu is large and helpings the same. The food could definitely use some seasoning. The eggs tasted like water. BUT, it was well cooked and the salt and pepper on the table took care of the lack of flavour. I feel like restaurants can't use salt anymore or something, so I won't knock them too hard. What totally saves this place is the atmosphere and service. I wish I had remembered our servers name better, I think it was Elsie. She was absolutely amazing. The hubby and I joked that if we could take her everywhere we go out to eat, we might eat out more. She was that amazing. Offered to fill out drinks at just under half full, and didn't keep pestering about what we might need or if the food was ok. I hate being asked if the food is to my liking while I have a mouthful, that's common sense to me. You won't be disappointed or hungry leaving here. Kid-friendliness: Even though there are usually a handful of older people enjoying their morning coffee, my kids are always welcomed with huge smiles and greetings. The kids menu has a good variety and my kids who usually eat off the adult menus are well fed off the kids menu here.
