Outstanding service from absolutely everyone in the restaurant. Friendly and helpful, they were checked-in to our experience. Food was an explosion of flavor. Ended up going back for an order of fries so we can dip it in the leftover sauce. Wings are smoked (had a great smoked flavor), then fried, then sauced and topped.
Update Feb 15/2024 I see you have left another retaliatory review for my business. Shawn, if you spent as much time improving your business as you do trying to tear down other businesses, you would not get reviews like this. What in your mind makes you think that giving my business a bad review will endear me to your place of work and want to improve my opinion of you or your establishment? Your abhorrent/unprofessional behavior only leads me to tell everyone that I know about the bad experience you have created. After careful consideration and reflection on my recent experience, I have decided to update my original review from 3 stars to 1 star based on subsequent events. Initially, I received a somewhat snarky response from the owner/chef to my review, which I acknowledged as their prerogative. However, I was deeply disappointed when the owner took the additional step of visiting my business page and leaving an unwarranted 1-star review, despite never having utilized my services. During our visit to the establishment, my party spent $42, in addition to a 20% tip, for lunch, and we provided our sincere feedback. While the Fire in the Hole dish left a less than satisfactory impression, it was the unprofessional act of retaliatory reviewing that truly soured my experience. The decision to target a fellow business owner with an unsubstantiated and immature review reflects poorly on the establishment's professionalism and integrity. As a result of this incident, I regret to say that I will not be returning to the establishment, nor will I be recommending it to others. Crossing professional boundaries in such a manner has eroded any trust or goodwill I may have previously held. It is with disappointment that I submit this revised review, reflecting the impact of the owner's actions on my perception of the establishment. Ken Hall, Google Guide - >7 Million views Original review: Mediocre Experience at The Peppered Pig I recently visited the new brick-and-mortar location of The Peppered Pig, eager to indulge in what I hoped would be a delightful culinary experience. The restaurant boasted ample seating, both at tables and at the bar, and exuded an atmosphere reminiscent of an American burger joint, which initially seemed promising. My excitement, however, was dampened by the underwhelming quality of the food. I opted for the "Fire In The Hole" burger, while my wife selected the Knuckle Sandwich. Regrettably, neither dish lived up to our expectations. My burger lacked the robust flavor I anticipated, instead relying heavily on sauces, cheeses, and peppers to compensate. Unfortunately, these flavors seemed to get lost amidst the bread, resulting in a disappointingly mushy texture. While the bread added volume, it failed to contribute any discernible taste or texture enhancement. Furthermore, the fries we received were notably greasy, leaving a lingering oily residue on our fingers. Though they possessed a certain level of tastiness, it was overshadowed by the unmistakable sensation of having been excessively saturated in the fryer, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite the pleasant atmosphere and ample seating, the subpar quality of the food at The Peppered Pig left much to be desired. While it may suffice for a quick bite, those seeking a truly exceptional dining experience may find themselves disappointed by the lackluster culinary offerings.
