Good food! The bartender was a little rough on his exchanges with other folks, but otherwise everyone was great. It's good BBQ... Not knock your socks off but good!
Fingahhh linking madness!! The ladies were pretty nice as well!!
The very best dry rub ribs I ever tasted, bar none. It was so good, I and my son ended up eating here three times on the same day, lunch, snack & dinner.
Visited Nashville from VA and saw this place on social media. This was the only sole Nashville style BBQ place we could find near us (a lot of others were Texas style) so we figured we would try local. My husband and I were just wanting a light lunch so we shared a plate of pulled pork, half rack dry rub ribs, and sides of Mac and cheese and bbq beans. My husband smokes a lot of meat at home so my standards may be a little high, but you could see the pulled pork had a nice smoke ring on pieces and was super moist; however it did lack a punch of flavor I was looking for so I paired it with the mild sauce and it was on the sweet and vinegar side which paired nicely. The ribs were also moist and came off the bone easily and again paired well with the sauce. Mac and cheese was ok, wouldn’t get again as it was the pimento style that apparently is big in Nashville but we are not a personal fan of. And the beans were also not what I would consider traditional baked beans they were more of a savory bean which is just not my personal favorite. Banana pudding was not anything special. We came during the lunch rush so inside it was packed and super hot inside so we sat outside so we could better hear and enjoy our food. Service was very quick and polite. Overall if I was nearby again and had friends going then I would join and get the ribs and pulled pork again but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop by considering I can get really good smoked meat at home.
Food look good did not like bake beans or the pull pork not good, first and last time eating there wasted money left not satisfied my opinion a minus zero
Delicious food and a great atmosphere!
We were visiting in town from Texas! This came recommended by multiple people. I don’t know if we’re spoiled, but, the ribs had half a bottle of dry rub just poured over the top and probably the driest ribs I’ve ever had. The smoked green beans were terrible and the Mac and cheese…oh lord.
