We went there today for lunch, after checking the website for the menu decided to give it a try. got there and found out they had changed the menu, prices and actual food on the menu.We went all the way down to try their lobster and corn chowder. We were told it wasn't available now until dinner. the waitress was nice enough to ask if we could possibly get some. We got it at the table,.it was two completely cold cups of chowder. they took it back and warmed it, don't know if I even got my own bowl back. We arrived, just before noon, waiting on food, we didn't leave until almost 2:00 in the afternoon. We each got a cup of chowder and a sandwich. My sandwich was the Italian sub it was so subpar, I'm sure I could have gotten a better one at Wawa. They have no sweet tea, I got charged for a bowl of chowder when we specifically ordered a cup. I couldn't even finish the sandwich, the Italian sub roll was dry, the lettuce was bright green bitter shredded, there was about three slices of meat a little bit of shredded onion and a lousy tomato. this is $15.50 without a side...It was not even worth bringing the rest home. I walked out of there with a bill for $31, not including tip, just for my food. I really wanted to like this place but I can promise you I won't be back. The waitress was kind and the only one in the dining room. it was not busy at all when we got there by the time we were served the food there were maybe four tables.. Save your time and money there are much better places to eat. Having managed a restaurant in the past, I am an advocate for restaurants.
First time there the food was excellent.. I will go again..
My veal was a disappointment. It seemed like it was slices and not cutlets. But, the Tiramisu is excellent.
The food was delicious. The staff was dry accommodating.
Amazing. Great food and service.
A bit of a time warp where there is excellent service. Good food and a casual stress free environment. Portions are large. Parking: Drop people off at entrance. Can be a bit of a walk to the parking lot.
Had dinner in December with a group of friends. Everyone loved their meal! Our server was Whitney, and there aren't enough words to describe her awesomeness, but I'll try....professional, precise, warm, friendly, funny, lovely!!!! Cheers to Whitney!!!! Dietary restrictions: The heart smart salad was delish!
A great place for lunch or dinner. The food and service are both excellent. The atmosphere is a little more upscale than a lot of restaurants in The Villages with white tablecloths. And we really like that the noise level let's you actually have a conversation!
Pauli's is a throw back to the true Country Club/Resort days. Beautiful interior quite clean & bright. Great food & very good service along with a well accomplished pianist to provide some good dinner music. Just a great overall experience.
