Decided to drop by here today after reading that Paradis was famous for thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies. There was only one cookie left and it looked dry and thin. I asked the person manning the cart if this was their popular cookie. He asked “what?” back to me - it was obvious he couldn’t hear me cuz he had AirPods in his ears. I repeated myself and told him I heard about how thick and chewy they’re supposed to be, and he growled in an annoyed tone at me, “it’s a cookie,” then looked down to go back to whatever he was doing. This was my first bad experience at a Paradis location, and I certainly won’t go when that guy’s around.
Delicious tacos, great atmosphere…”Pa La Calle”
Ordered sangria and got what tasted like beetroot and cranberry juice..
Coffee is good, just need to train your people to SMILE more. Lady look at me from the corner of her eye, look like I disturbed her quiet moment, I asked couple of questions about pasties, answer like she was bothered. I decided to only order coffee. I did told her that it was too early to be grumpy, she should smile more often, it's good for the soul. First impression matter to me. This was a first...and last.
Great little place and wasn’t crowded at all. I got a breakfast sandwich, but I put it on a bagel. The bigger was too hard. I would just recommend. They had great service and filled up my water for me as well.
