We did take out - mainly because we didn’t turn the corner and see that the dining room was a different entrance! Either way it was a busy place. Solid sandwiches, great rice and beans.
I was denied a seat because my food came out in a bag. I even tipped on purchase, but I guess not tipping a server directly is an issue. The picture is my walk home from my very first visit… update: After being denied a table despite purchases and later after I finally got home to eat the food - I can say I won’t be back. There is better authentic Cuban spots that I’m sure taste much better and won’t remove you after purchasing from their menu. The food was alright, but not worth a half mile walk. If it were cheaper, It’d make more sense, but it still wouldn’t be worth the distance.
I have been getting papi’s for years and this is the first time I was NOT satisfied. I got the empanadas beef/chicken - the flavor was off, the sauces were watered down and the tostones were almost too hard to eat. I hope this was a one off situation.
Food was not good, no flavor. We had a hard time ordering and paying because of the language barrier. The Cuban coffee was good and similar to authentic Cuban coffee but everything else lacked flavor. Kid-friendliness: Kiddos didn’t like anything
Food was on pint and delicious. Service could be better but it was bz.
They don’t have rice for the order!!! Really!!! Please this isn’t a Cuban restaurant. They are FAKE!!!! I don’t recommend nothing from this joke of an establishment!!!! Stay away from them they are not even subpar. The wait is ridiculous for delivery, even when you wait to be seated. Parking is a hazard. Pictures are not here because the food wasn’t delivered!! So sad!!! The truth!!!!
Highly recommended Yellow rice is so good!!!
