Owen's Fish Camp

Our overall experience was okay. What we didn’t appreciate was Manager Frank’s dishonesty. We were told the wait is 2 hrs. But when another group, that came after us, was seated right around the 2 hr mark we got suspicious. We asked an employee about it and were told Frank gave our table to his friends. So we confronted Frank about it & he completely denied it. (We were told he does this a lot) He was desperate to find out who told us so he could get that person in trouble. We refused to give out the person name. Had he just apologized & admitted it, we wouldn’t have been so upset. But he was arrogant & rude about it. We ended up waiting 2.5 hrs for a table because of it.

The food was very small very expensive the waitress did not come by and check on our food we needed water she did not come by we had to talk to the owner will not go back again most of the people that come there from different countries they don't know good service or good food I'm from North all good food out there nothing out here in Florida

On the top of our list when visiting Sarasota. Unique setting with a cool courtyard setting to enjoy some drinks and snacks while waiting for a table. Some of the better seafood offerings in the area. Have patience…….. it’s busy, plan to go early or expect a wait. Short walk from the marina.

A Sarasota institution. Go early to avoid a long wait. They don't take reservations. Food is top notch.

Great service and amazing food, but be ready for a bit of a wait, ours was about 2 hours. Luckily there’s an outdoor area where you can order drinks and appetizers while you wait.
