All the food was great along with the drinks. From the house made potato chips to the excellent sandwiches, cocktails and deserts, it was a great experience with very friendly staff. There wasn't a band playing, so it wasn't too loud either. Definitely give it a try if you're considering it .
so the place is part of goosetown. I had the Osaka chicken sandwich which was great. I love the shokupan bread they used. I really liked the onion dip they have for a starter. Parking: it's on Colfax so going to have to park on a side street and walk half a block.
We were thrilled when we found a sandwich shop nearby with good reviews. Unfortunately, both the chicken and the eggplant sandwiches we ordered were completely underwhelming. The eggplant was barely fried and it seemed the Panko was added as an afterthought. The Mayo was added so heavily in one spot that it soaked through the bread and there was no attempt to spread it out. There was no watercress or micro celery as the menu implied. I get so excited when I see a vegetarian sandwich with promise, but this was super disappointing. I will say, we ordered via Uber eats so I can’t speak to the ambience of the restaurant or the talent of the staff, which I’m sure are both great. But we were really in need of a solid meal tonight and this just didn’t even come close.
Go to Goosetown and drink your face off. Then put any of these tasty space torpedoes in your pie hole so you can recharge your liver and don’t make pukey pukey when you get home. Get the ranch chips if you know what’s good for you, loser.
There's a small menu. The sandwiches have somewhat of an Asian fusion taste to them. They're not bad, but not great, either. Sandwiches here are $13.50 (plus tax). There's also this Goose town Tavern on the other half of the room.
Goosetown Tavern was a welcome surprise! We had a great lunch of wonderful sandwiches which were expertly prepared. Service was excellent also. Fun atmosphere, not an ordinary bar! We'll be back!
