We went here with the idea of comparing this to another place we like for breakfast. Service: Our server was friendly enough, but wasn't very good about checking on her tables (for me, a timely coffee refill is the marker). After several minutes, I finally asked for a refill. She said no problem, then walked away to do everything but get coffee, I had to ask again. Customer service was really highlighted with the manager interaction. Will explain later. Frankly, I think it is because she is fairly new(?) and just doesn't have her system down yet. Still very nice. Food: Food was OK. I had an omelet, hash brown pancakes, and coffee. I asked for my hashbrowns to be scattered and crispy. They were semi scattered but not cooked through. The coffee was pretty flavorless. The omelet was OK, nothing special, BUT they do have hotsauce on the table. My wife had scrambled egg with a waffle . She found it all very good EXPCEPT for the plastic that was burned into her waffle. She did not find the plastic until the very end and had eaten almost all of what was on her plate. She let our waitress know about the plastic, and as we were about to pay the check (we didn't want anything because of the plastic), the manager approached us and said she was taking care of our check. We objected to the offer as my wife had pretty much cleared her plate, but she insisted. So, what would have been a small tip for meh service became a tip almost equal to our check. The manager won't see it, but I'm sure she was told... I hope. So all in all, we found the place worth trying again, but for now, it's our second favorite place for breakfast.
