Beautiful brunch place in NoMad with a range of healthy options. And options that’s are a little more calorie loaded if that’s more your style also recommended for those looking for vegetarian options. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. Coffee and food came out quickly and was very well presented. I ordered the burrata toast on sourdough from the new menu and it tasted even better than it looked ❤️ A must-try brunch place in NoMad! Highly recommend you pop in.
food was good But space very tight, we even have to stand up to pick our latte from the waitress’s hands. waitress there didn’t ask us whether the food was good whole time there. When I try to customize my tip around 15%, they said I have to pay 18% at lowest
The chicken wrap was great. The steak sandwich was sub par. The meat was tender but I am pretty sure the kitchen made a mistake of not seasoning it. Those things happen. Especially during busy hours. Fair enough. This brings me to the next point. The waitress never for once bothered to check in to ask how the food was. I spent one good minute trying to get her attention and asked for salt and pepper. Then I politely told her that the steak *may* be unseasoned, to which she replied in a condescending tone, "It's just salt and pepper." Oh and you should've seen the look on her face. Worst service I've ever gotten. The level of service did not deserve the 18% tip by any means. To add insult to injury, she even had the audacity to *stare* at the tip amount while we were paying the check and flat out asked for 18% as we went for the "Custom Amount" button to give her 15%, which I still think is extremely generous for the service. She said "We do not do that here. No one gives lower than 18% around here," again, as if she is culturing us. We visited this place several times before and not for a single time, we met a server like this. This experience is not what I signed up for and definitely not what I paid for. Future visitors, please beware.
Went there on a weekday and ordered myself the champ pancake ($17 + tax). Beautifully plated banana pancake (singular) topped with a variety of berries. Honestly it wasnt half bad, but for guy who's doesn't have much of a sweet tooth, it could be a bit much. Overall great atmosphere, nice food and friendly staff. But then again, $17 for a banana pancake? I'll let you be the judge.
Such a great placed! Visited last week with my husband as we were in New York for a few days. The coffee was great! The food was amazing! Staff was super friendly. Highly recommend
